🎬 Open OBS Studio

Launch OBS Studio on your computer. If you don't have it installed, download it free from obsproject.com.

Pro Tip

  • Make sure OBS is updated to the latest version
  • Close any unnecessary programs to free up RAM

➕ Add Browser Source

In the Sources panel at the bottom of OBS, click the + button and select Browser.

Can't find it?

  • Sources panel is usually bottom-left in OBS
  • Look for the "+" icon below the sources list
  • Browser Source is built-in — no plugin needed

🔗 Paste Your Overlay URL

Copy your unique overlay URL and paste it into the Browser Source URL field. Name it "Cow Raid Overlay" so you remember.

📐 Set Dimensions

Set the Browser Source to match your stream resolution. This ensures the overlay fills your entire scene.

Custom Resolution?

  • 720p streamers: use 1280 x 720
  • 1440p streamers: use 2560 x 1440
  • Always match your base (canvas) resolution

🖱️ Position the Overlay

Right-click the Browser Source in your scene and select Transform → Fit to Screen. The overlay is transparent — only cows and UI will show on top of your stream.

Positioning Tips

  • Keep overlay at the top of your Sources list
  • This ensures cows appear above your gameplay
  • You can drag to reposition if needed

🧪 Open Test Mode 🎛️ Go to Dashboard

Before Going Live

  • Type !join in your chat — a cow should appear
  • Check that the shop panel is visible
  • Make sure audio isn't too loud
  • Tell your chat about the new game!
